Information we collect
Account data includes your name, email, role, authentication provider, and account status. Profile data may include a phone number, address, technician biography, experience, service categories, availability, and verification documents.
Job data includes service requests, approximate or precise job locations, bids, contracts, messages, attachments, ratings, completion records, disputes, and notifications. We also process technical logs needed for security and reliability.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, match requests with relevant technicians, operate messaging and job workflows, review verification submissions and disputes, send service communications, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Location data
Location helps show relevant nearby work and professionals. Job locations are shared only as needed to operate the marketplace. Avoid entering private location details in public descriptions.
How information is shared
Job participants see the information needed to evaluate and perform a job. Authorized admins can access records required for support, safety, verification, and dispute review. Service providers may process hosting, database, file, email, monitoring, authentication, geocoding, and push-notification data only for the functions described in this policy.
Our third-party services inventory identifies each external provider, the data sent, its purpose, and the platforms where it is used. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users, or in connection with a business transfer.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for service records, security, disputes, and legal obligations. Access controls, encrypted transport, expiring credentials, and monitoring reduce risk, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You can update account and profile information from your profile page. You may request access, correction, or deletion by contacting privacy@handigo.pk. Some records may be retained when required for security, dispute handling, or law.
Cookies and authentication
Handigo uses essential cookies and local browser storage to maintain authentication and protect sessions. These technologies are required for signed-in features.
Children and changes
Handigo is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We may update this policy and will change the effective date when material revisions are published.
